SmartCopy is a file copy and move program, given away for free. By downloading and using it you accept what follows. We have kept this short. A long document nobody reads is worse than a short one.

The program is provided as is. We do not warrant that it fits any particular purpose or that it is free of defects. It is a program that handles your files, so please back up anything important before you move it.
What we have committed to is written down: the boundary table in SECURITY.md. If something there turns out to be false, please tell us.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for data loss, lost business, or indirect damages arising from use of this program. Not because it is free, but because it runs in an environment we cannot control — other programs, the state of your disk, your network.
That is not licence to be careless, and we have not been. A move deletes the original only after verification passes, overwriting is never the default, and an interrupted job does not start over from the beginning. That design is written up in the README.
The program and these terms can change. Changes are recorded on this page and in the CHANGELOG. A copy you already downloaded stays usable as it is.
The laws of the Republic of Korea apply. Any dispute falls to the court having jurisdiction under the Korean Civil Procedure Act.
